Hextraction, the basic game originally designed by Zack Freedman, inspired me to create a gaming and storage box where all pieces could be neatly kept.

Process

While I enjoyed playing Zack Freedman’s version, I wanted to create my own version that was easy to store and transport, without much assembly and disassembly. That’s why I built a complete enclosure around it.

The game board slides on top of the rule board, and with the lockable enclosure at the bottom, everything stays securely in place and is ready to take on the go.
The marbles are collected under the playfield, and by rotating, you can use the marbles to play.
Used game pieces can be thrown into the top and reappear at the bottom to be played again.
